Support Where It Is Needed Most

As a charity we do not receive any statutory funding so in order to survive we apply to grant making trusts, we appeal for donations, we generate income through the sale of bikes and we encourage supporters to fundraise for us.

We can fundraise or seek funding for specific projects but we also need to consider the general running costs of the charity, without the core of the charity none of our projects would exist.

To support the Margaret Carey Foundation we are appealing for general donations to allow us to use the funds wherever they are needed most in the charity. Whether it is to pay for storage costs for the bikes, insurance for the charity, phone and internet costs,  general running costs for the van, workshop visits to award certificates to trainees, volunteer expenses, etc.  These 'core costs' are essential to maintain the charity but can sometimes be the most difficult items to fund.
