Fundraising Volunteer Background to the role To help MCF increase its fundraising income we are looking for enthusiastic, self motivated volunteers to join us in setting up a community fundraising programme. If you would like to help promote MCF in your community then becoming a fundraising volunteer could be the perfect role for you. Fundraising volunteers could set up stalls at local events, speak at events on behalf of MCF, attend chequepresentations, deliver collecting boxes or put up posters. You would have the opportunity to organise events and engage your community in supporting us with a time commitment to suit you. Responsibilities could include: Support local fundraising and awareness events Manning a stall at an event Organising local bike collections Delivering collecting cans to local businesses Putting up posters or handing out flyers Delivering a presentation to a school in your local area Attending cheque presentation Promote the work of MCF in the local area Approaching individuals, schools, universities, local authorities, shops and commercial organisations for sponsorship and donations Community Fundraising is a new area for MCF so there is lots of scope for you to develop the fundraising in your local area.
