Helen Rowlands - Business Development Manager

Helen began her career in the charity sector on returning to the UK after spending two years in Zambia as a maths teacher for Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO). Helen began working as a fundraiser in 2003 and has worked in a variety of roles, covering volunteer management, income generation and project management for local, regional and national charities.

Helen's area of responsibility within MCF covers development of the Shipley Bikery, supporting the prison workshops, social media, marketing and website, fundraising, volunteer management and bike supply. 

Helen is a Fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs having successfully completed the Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs programme in 2019. 

Outside of work Helen loves spending time with her family and friends, exploring the great outdoors, keeping fit, reading and supporting Liverpool football club.
