Miles Boothby

Miles has been a Trustee of the Margaret Carey Foundation since May 2018.

Initially, Miles started as a volunteer at the Shipley bikery to increase his knowledge of bike maintenance. Miles was impressed with the set-up at Shipley and decided to use his experience to offer more to the charity by joining the board of trustees.

Originally from Liverpool, in 2013 Miles found himself a new job which brought him to Bradford and he liked it so much that he stayed.

Miles has a full time job as an anti social behaviour officer with a social housing provider and cycles to work, much preferring a bike saddle to a car seat. Miles' lifetime achievements in cycling include  Coast to Coast (UK), cycling the entire length of the Leeds Liverpool canal and in 2018, cycling over 5,000 miles, more miles than he did in his car.

Outside work and volunteering for MCF, Miles' interests include pub quizzes, travel and Christmas in general.
