Training Restarts at St Joseph's Approved Premises

After a significant hiatus during the height of the Covid pandemic, the bike project at St. Joseph's Approved Premises has now been running again for the last couple of months.

There have had to be several measures put into place to achieve this, with staff and residents being keen and conscientious in enacting them. Social distancing and the use of face coverings are the two main approaches being used, with an additional measure in the workshop where tools and bikes are regularly sanitised to help ensure as risk free an environment as possible.

Given the relatively small size of the workshop at St. Joseph's, attendance at the sessions is currently limited to one resident on each day, with the number of sessions each week being increased from two to three in order to allow all residents the opportunity to participate.
