One vanload of 30 bikes will provide enough work for the workshop trainees for approximately one month. Each of our 11 prison workshops needs a regular delivery of unwanted bikes to be refurbished by the trainees.

We collect bikes from the police, household waste recycling centres, bike shops, universities, individuals and other charitable organisations. Schools have organised bike collections on our behalf as part of their general charitable support or as a Duke of Edinburgh Award volunteering project. We are also lucky to have the ongoing support of several Rotary Clubs, who organise regular collections in their local area.

However, we do need a LOT of bikes to keep all our workshops supplied all year round and are always looking for new sources of unwanted bikes.

If your workplace, school club or group would be interested in organising a bike collection for us then please get in touch. We have lots of experience in collecting bikes and organising collections and can provide you with lots of support and helpful tips to make your collection a success.

If you have one or two bikes you would like to donate but don't want to organise a collection then check out how to Give A Bike as an individual.
