Jacob's Well Appeal, Beverley

Due to the lockdowns in 2020 and 2021 MCF has been unable to refurbish as many bikes over the last 12 months. We were delighted to be able to deliver 20 refurbished adult bikes to the Jacob's Well Appeal in January 2021 to be included in a container being shipped to Zambia. We know how much difference having a bike can make to individuals so we were happy to have enough refurbished bikes available to donate.

Green Meadows School, Leeds

We were delighted to receive a fantastic donation of a quadricycle at the Shipley Bikery. A gentleman had purchased the specialist bike for his disabled daughter and wanted someone else to get the benefit from it since his daughter had outgrown it. The team gave the bike a full service and when it was completed we donated the bike to Green Meadows School for the children to use.

Asylum Seeker Bike Donation in Hebden Bridge

Abdul Aziz, originally from Kuwait, is an asylum seeker in Hebden Bridge experiencing transport poverty. We donated the bike to Abdul via Together we Grow, who clubbed together to get the accessories to go with the bike, e.g. a lock, some lights, a helmet and a pump.

Abdul was thrilled with his new bike and now cycles everywhere.
