The Bradford Bikery is a community bike project based on the ground floor of Buchan Towers on the edge of Bradford city centre. The Bradford Bikery refurbishes bikes, provides training in bike maintenance, offers volunteering opportunities and placements as well as friendly workshop space where people can come and repair their bicycles.

We work with local residents and people from the wider Bradford community, as well as people who are referred to us by other organisations. The Bradford Bikery is a community project which is a partnership of the Margaret Carey Foundation with housing association Incommunities.

We run volunteer training sessions every Wednesday and drop-in workshop sessions every Thursday where you can come along and learn how to repair and maintain your own bike.

We also run 4-week youth mechanics courses - with dates being added regularly for new courses please keep an eye on the training and events listing for the up to date details.

If you would like to support the team at the Bikery then why not join us as a Volunteer Bike Mechanic
