Volunteer with Us

Volunteers play a vital role in the day to day operations of the community bikerys, as a small charity we simply wouldn't be able to manage to do what we do without them!

We have an active team of volunteers that support the day to day operations at the community bikerys in Shipley and Bradford. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the team and helping us to reach more beneficiaries - we simply wouldn't manage without them!

Our wonderful volunteers have a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences but are all focussed on working together, skill sharing in an empowering, inclusive environment to support the work of MCF in the community.

Our volunteer roles are varied (although there is a bit of a focus on bikes and cycling) and the time commitment can be arranged on an individual basis. All training will be given so bike maintenance or retail experience isn't essential, all we are looking for is an enthusiasm for what we do and a desire to help out.

Check out the full list of volunteer opportunities

We are always keen to welcome new volunteers and have a range of different tasks that you can get stuck into depending on your interests and availability. If you are interested in joining MCF as a volunteer please complete this short form and we will be in touch shortly!

We can currently only recruit community volunteers to our projects in West Yorkshire. If you would like to support MCF but live a bit further afield then there may be other ways you can still help out.

You could organise a bike collection in your local community or become a local fundraising volunteer.
